  1. Your briefs are fantastico; I would love to play them if they were developed. You have some very good ideas and the layout you have used to write out the briefs is brilliant, it makes you want to play them to see what happens to the main character. Your mind map is pact full of ideas; You should use the mind map for all of your planning in the future.

  2. P.s You should work with brief 4 as it reminds me of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Pokemon and the TV series Doctor Who. The brief seems full of action and adventures.

  3. Great comments from Ryan here. They should really help you to decide on which brief to go for. Your Blog is looking very up to date and you have clearly put lots of effort into your briefs. Very well done.

  4. I've looked at both your mind map and four briefs and overall, very strong and creative briefs, along with a reasonable mind map!

Lets start with your mind map. I feel your mind map is powerful and creative, but the quantity could have been greater. I can see exactly were you got your ideas from that contributed to your briefs, which I think are impressive! Just a note, in the future try to add a little more to your mind map to open up more ideas, especially as you've shown you are very creative!

The briefs are excellent! Very creative and differ a lot from each other. However, the grammar could be improved a little. Other than that, spot on!

Personally, I would chose brief 3 due to the potential action and room for a great deal of creativity. Brief 1 & 4 are good too, but brief 2 isn't so good. I just feel it wouldn't be a good outcome and there just isn't any potential for it.

  5. To extend on brief 2, I just think the whole of racing a car and hitting notes wouldn't work. Requires too much multi-tasking which I feel most people wouldn't enjoy.

  6. Based on these comments provided, I feel that Brief 4 is the one that I would like to continue with. I will use brief 4 because of Ryan's explanation of brief 4 and finding similarities with other games and TV shows has helped me choose my final idea.

  7. Your Game Document is coming on well too. Change from calm and relaxing to sad and foreboding? Calm sky, dark terrain or ground. Want to improve.. drawing skills, tablet, photohsop, concept art. Tension building through sounds, colour, mist and smoke i.e. atmosphere and effects. Features.. audio, moving elemements such as trees, grass in the wind, rivers trickling, rock falls.. the feeling of being watch.. seeing shadows of people watching that you can never get too..
